Founder & Facilitator
Spencer “Missambo” Burton is a founder of the Missoko Bwiti Alliance and Iboga Rebirth Church, dedicated to the ethical and authentic introduction of Iboga to the West. Having undergone traditional initiation and extensive training in Gabon, Spencer brings years of experience conducting sacred ceremonies with a steadfast commitment to safety, integrity, and cultural respect. He serves as a bridge for those seeking deep healing, combining his profound personal history with the discipline of the Missoko Bwiti lineage to guide guests toward clarity and ancestral truth.
Ryan "Ghenigho" Rich
Founder & Facilitator
Ryan "Ghenigho" Rich is the founder of Root Healing, a network of Iboga retreat centers across the US, Mexico, and Europe; co-founder of Bassé Root (501(c)(3)) and the Missoko Bwiti Alliance; and co-organizer of the Iboga Leadership Summit. Trained and empowered by his Missoko Bwiti elders, he has supported over a thousand people through hundreds of ceremonies, bridging indigenous Bwiti wisdom with Western science and professional practice.
Sienna "Nzanga"
Facilitator, Operations & Support
Sienna was traditionally trained in Gabon and brings years of ceremonial experience to the Missoko Bwiti Alliance. Her approach is rooted in the discipline and integrity of her lineage, offering grounded guidance to help participants reconnect with their inner vitality. Having lived globally, she connects with people from all walks of life with a unique blend of compassion and directness. As a facilitator at Iboga Rebirth Church, and Missoko Bwiti Alliance, Sienna offers steady, attentive care through every stage of the journey, helping guests move beyond old patterns toward a deeper sense of truth and clarity.
Chrissy Thomure
Operations & Support
Chrissy brings over twenty years of experience in community building and sacred service. Through guest care and a grounded presence, she helps create a compassionate environment. As the retreat chef, she prepares nourishing meals and supports guest integration care, cultivating a space of connection and healing.
Taylor "Moupetou" Albamonti
Facilitator
Taylor’s path began at the United States Naval Academy where a mental health crisis revealed his calling beyond a military career. He chose a different path in search of healing, which led him to the Missoko Bwiti lineage. Now based in Northern California, Taylor blends ancestral wisdom with a grounded, compassionate approach.
Michael "Maviango" Jones
Facilitator
Michael is a traditionally trained Missoko Bwiti provider who transformed his life through the discipline of the Bwiti path. After traveling to Gabon, he underwent deep initiation and training in the ancestral ways of working with Iboga. His dedication, humility, and respect for the tradition have made him an incredible Bwiti provider known for his grounded presence.
